IBERCIVIS

Services

The Ibercivis Foundation’s experience in citizen science has served to specialise in all areas of its development, and it has a team of specialists capable of conceiving, planning, developing and collecting the results of any type of project involving science and citizenship.

What is citizen science?

Citizen science can be defined as a set of research methodologies in which anyone with an interest can actively participate in one or more stages of the research cycle, in line with their ever-evolving capabilities: by contributing and/or analysing data, interpreting results, identifying research questions or formulating hypotheses.

The fields in which citizen science is present are as diverse as the subjects of scientific study themselves, and the opportunities for participation are almost endless.

Citizen Science Projects

Citizen Science Projects
0

We have developed more than 70 citizen science experiments and projects, involving 45 different research groups and reaching more than 70,000 participants.

CITIZEN SCIENCE COMMUNICATION

Communication plans
0

We engage communities around our citizen science projects through communication plans, identifying key audiences and messages and disseminating their results.

Graphic and editorial design

Visual identity projects
0

We develop the visual identity for the projects we coordinate. We create all the graphic elements needed to effectively communicate their objectives and explain the participatory experience.

We specialise in technological development, web development, citizen science and collaborative analysis.

We manage and maintain the European platform eu-citizen.science and collaborate with international organisations. We also develop our own solutions, such as the Geonity crowdsourcing app and other online platforms, to facilitate new projects.

Science and the arts of citizenship

Participants

Through our open labs and projects, we have created a large community of participants exploring the relationship between science and the arts.

We have extensive experience in designing and implementing public engagement methodologies for scientific projects, which can be adapted to any initiative requiring public involvement.
