The programme, directed and presented by Marcos Ruiz Baños, brings together Francisco Sanz, director of Ibercivis; Fermín Serrano, coordinator of the RIECS project; and Maite Pelacho, coordinator of the Citizen Science Observatory in Spain, to review two decades of work in citizen science from Aragón.

The programme marks the 10th anniversary of the Citizen Science Observatory in Spain (2016–2026) and presents its new web portal, open, collaborative and designed to connect the scientific community with citizens across the country.
The conversation also looks back over the history of Ibercivis, a pioneering organization in the launch and consolidation of citizen science in Spain and Europe over its 20-year history. CSIC Aragón also takes part in the discussion, detailing that, within the CSIC framework, more than 130 projects applying citizen science methodologies have been launched, with cumulative participation of over one million people.
