Dilan

Training in communication and digital language for EU scientists

About the project

The project is environmentally friendly (it chooses greener ways to travel whenever possible) and inclusive (it plans ways to help those with fewer opportunities to take part). It also covers EU academic disciplines and languages.

Dilan+ is funded under the Erasmus+ programme, within Key Action KA2 (Cooperation among organisations and institutions). Its main aim is to develop digital educational resources that improve the ability of STEM scientists (women in particular) to share their research online, reaching expert, multidisciplinary and wider audiences.

Project objectives

DILAN’s main aim is to improve scientists’ ability to communicate their research results beyond the specialist community, so that they reach diverse audiences and society at large.

The role of Ibercivis

Fundación Ibercivis leads the development of the project website and the technology infrastructure (e-platform) that supports the project’s results and activities. As a citizen science foundation, it has its own technical resources and hosting infrastructure for the training platform, which ensures it is maintained and sustainable over time.

Our activities

Running working sessions with the project coordinators to define the content and how it is organised on the website.
