The Ibercivis Foundation, in collaboration with the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT), runs the Observatory of Citizen Science in Spain (http://ciencia-ciudadana.es), a platform dedicated to monitor everything that happens in Spain related to Citizen Science (projects, resources, institutions, etc.). In addition, we have a collaboration agreement with FECYT to encourage other institutions to adopt the citizen science methodology. During this agreement we have carried out: campaigns in social networks, 5 thematic meetings in 5 cities in Spain and a final meeting with more than 170 attendees. The constitution of the Spanish Citizen Science Network is one of the objectives. In this poster we will present the results of both projects: The Spanish Citizen Science Observatory and the agreement to promote citizen science in Spain.
